Competition

Competitive forces are essential for innovation and consumer adoption. We have studies competition, regulations, and policy and the main factors driving the ecosystem growth for a number of years. Our first paper in the series was in 2011, “Competition and the Evolution of Mobile Markets: A Study of Competition in Global Mobile Markets” which looked at the “Rule of 3” and how it manifests itself in the service provide community. As we have worked with the regulators and governments over the years, we have realized that the existing framework of regulations is severely outdated and we need new frameworks and debate around how to serve the digital ecosystem. We explore this subject in our latest paper, Competition: Rethinking the Regulatory Framework for the Connected Intelligence Era.”
