Just wanted to give a quick update on speakers and the program. As usual, we will be tackling a number of vertical industries. Rideshare and Autonomous Vehicles are going to transform society just like the automobile did a 100 years ago. Steve Banfield, CEO, Reachnow runs BMW’s car-sharing service business and is in the midst of shaping the industry. Greg Gewickey, Warner Bros runs the Emerging Technology program and is at the forefront of development in emerging areas such as VR and 5G. Steve Raymond, CEO, 8i is doing some fascinating work in mixed reality and holograms. Dr. Anand Rao, partner, PwC did his PhD in AI in 1985 and has been involved in a number of breakthrough projects in the field. Dr. Ali Farhadi, CEO, Xnor.ai is doing some impactful work that hones into personalization AI. Dr. Robert Zhang, Cofounder, Cloudminds is marrying Robotics and Cloud in a fundamentally new and essential architecture.
Each speaker brings a unique perspective that will shape how you would think about the opportunities and the ecosystem. The theme of this year’s summit is Connected Intelligence: Man, Machine, and Platforms.
