iPhone Review Summary June 27, 2007
Posted by chetan in : US Wireless Market , trackbackValleywag has a nice summary of the four iPhone reviews that came out yesterday. By all accounts, the device launch is looking pretty stellar. If these reviews stand the first few days, Apple will blow past the initial estimates for the year. If they end up signing Vodafone or a carrier with good distribution for Europe, 10M might look child’s play. There are still a few unanswered questions but overall things are looking good for Apple. It must be fun to be in Apple PR these days.

Just purchased one after much debate. Product get’s me excited, but the most frustrating thing is you can’t even turn the device on to use the ipod or any other feature unless you sign a 2 yr contract w/ AT&T!!! Great business move to get an exclusive carrier relationship, but definitely didn’t have the customer in mind. What do I do with my $600 device if i don’t want cingular at the end of 2 yrs. It’s like selling me a computer but telling me it won’t work at all without a Comcast contract.
